L’Azienda Montecucco è un piccolo, incantevole podere (vigneto) in Maremma. E’ situato a metà strada tra il mare e la montagna, per cui è il luogo ideale per fare delle passeggiate sul Monte Amiata alla scoperta della natura, per goder il sole in spiaggia, per fare un giro a Siena o per visitare gli scavi etruschi.
“Montecucco” è conosciuto da molti anni per il buon vino. Adesso molti saranno lieti di sapere che il signor Stefano (l’amministratore) ha deciso di costruire in alcuni dei vecchi e begli edifici, degli appartamenti per le vacanze. I 400 ettari di terreno intorno sono tutti da scoprire: delle belle passeggiate tra oliveti e vigne vi faranno dimenticare velocemente il tram tram quotidiano. Montecucco ha una posizione panoramica, da qui si vede l’intera valle del fiume Ombrone e quando l’aria è limpida anche il mare. La piscina (15x6m) probabilmente il posto dove si passa la maggior parte del tempo, offre una vista meravigliosa dei vigneti e delle colline.
Qui termina la piccola strada con ai lati vecchi cipressi, punto d’attrazione per molti pittori amatoriali.

FAGIANO L’appartamento si raggiunge da una scala esterna e ha davanti alla porta d’ingresso un comodo spazio per sedersi, coperto da una tettoia. Ci sono due camere da letto, un bagno, un cucinotto e un soggiorno con camino, tavolo e sedie.

LEPRE Anche questo appartamento è raggiungibile da questa scala esterna. Il posto per sedersi fuori si trova sul prato all’ombra di un albero, in modo che ognuno abbia il suo regno. L’ appartamento dispone di due camere da letto, un bagno, una cucina molto bella e un soggiorno con camino, tavolo e sedie.

ISTRICE e RICCIO Questi appartamenti, situati in un edificio laterale – sono davvero speciali. Davanti all’ingresso c’è un posto per sedersi con barbecue e mobili da giardino. La divisione interna non è convenzionale: abbiamo, infatti, una stanza divisa a metà da un muro semicircolare. A sinistra c’è un comodo divano letto, a destra la cucina e in mezzo la tavola. In “Istrice” si accede al bagno scendendo un paio di gradini; in “Riccio”, invece, per accedere al bagno si devono salire un paio di scalini. Spostandosi dal soggiorno all’altro lato del muro si trova un letto matrimoniale con una vista favolosa delle colline dai colori cangianti secondo il periodo dell’anno. Fuori, davanti alla portafinestra, quindi dall’altro lato dell’appartamento, si trova una terrazza esposta al sole con sdraio e un’incantevole vista. Scorderete difficilmente quel cielo senza fine sul paesaggio infinito.

In un altro edificio, prima stalla e magazzino, sono stati realizzati quattro appartamenti. Ognuno dispone di una camera da letto, un bagno con doccia, un cucinotto e un soggiorno con zona pranzo e divano letto. L’arredamento è molto carino e il soffitto con le travi di legno crea un’atmosfera calda e accogliente. Davanti a ciascun appartamento si trova un posto per sedersi, la piscina, la vecchia cappella e i begli edifici di pietra fanno da sfondo.

CAPRIOLO-DAINO Si trovano al primo piano dello stesso stabile nel quale si trovano anche, ma dalla parte opposta, Lepre e Fagiano. Le scale che conducono a Capriolo e Daino si trovano al piano terreno in una sala (anticamente un granaio ed oggi usata talvolta per la degustazione dei vini) con un grande camino e con il soffitto ad archi. Al primo piano, alla fine della detta rampa di scale, si trova un corridoio dove si affacciano le porte dei due appartamenti. Entrambi gli appartamenti hanno una camera matrimoniale, soggiorno con angolo cottura, Sat-Tv, un piccolo figorifero, forno elettrico, due piastre elettriche, divano letto e bagno con doccia. Gli unici due elementi che contraddistinguono gli appartamenti sono i seguenti: “Capriolo” ha il bagno accessibile direttamente dalla cucina salendo quattro scalini e il divano letto in soggiorno; “Daino” ha il divano letto ubicato lungo l’ampio corridoio che conduce dal soggiorno alla camera matrimoniale ed al bagno.

Su richiesta è disponibile gratis una culla. In un edificio laterale si trova una stanza con la lavatrice comune a tutti gli ospiti.

 Azienda Montecucco This small and enchanting vineyard of Montecucco is reachable by driving along an avenue lined by  cypress trees and is surrounded by 400 hectares of land waiting to be explored, with paths leading directly from the house front door to olive groves and vineyards, belonging to Stefano, the owner, who converted the buildings into lovely holiday homes. It lies halfway between the mountains and the sea, ideally located for walks around Mount Amiata, to visit the nearby  beaches, the Etruscan archaeological sites or local towns. As it is on a hill, the estate has views over the Ombrone valley, and, on clear days, over the sea. The swimming pool is 15x6 metres, and is peacefully quiet as it  is at the end of the road. A utility room has a washing machine which can be shared by the guests of all the flats.

VOLPE - FAINA - CINGHIALE - TORTORA Each has one bedroom, a shower bathroom, and combined living room/kitchen/diner with a sofa-bed. All flats are very carefully and suitably furnished and decorated. The old exposed beams give a southern homely feeling. Each flat has its own seating area outside, with a view of the old chapel, the lovely stone buildings and the pool.

FAGIANO has its own entrance via an outside staircase with a roofed, terrace area outside the entrance. There are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate kitchen and. A children cot can be provided free of charge.

ISTRICE and RICCIO lie away from the other flats in an outhouse. They are really special. By the entrance, there is an area, with a BBQ and garden furniture, where you can seat. Inside, there is an unconventional space, in fact, a room is divided in the middle by a semi-circular wall. To the left, there is a comfortable sofa-bed, to the right there is a kitchen with a dining table in the middle of the room. In “Istrice”. In “Riccio”, on the contrary,  you get to the bathroom by walking up a couple of steps. If you go from the living room to the other side of the wall, you will see  a double bedroom with a wonderful view over the hills which change colour during the four seasons. Outside, in front of the  French window, on the other side of the flat, there is a sunny terrace with deckchairs and a magnificent view. You will never forget such an endless sky over such an endless landscape!  

CAPRIOLO-DAINO These two flats are located on the first floor of the same building where there are also, on the opposite side, “Lepre” and “Fagiano”. The stairs leading to “Capriolo” and “Daino” are on the ground floor, in a room (which used to be a barn and which is nowadays used to sample wines) which has a big fireplace and an arch ceiling. On the first floor, at the end of the stairs, there is a corridor with the doors of the two flats on both sides. Both flats have a double bedroom, a living room with a cooking area, SAT TV, a small fridge, an electrical oven, a cooker with two hot plates, a sofa bed and a bathroom with a shower. The two flats differ only because in  “Capriolo” you get to the bathroom from the kitchen, by going up four steps, and the sofa bed is in the living room while “Daino” has the sofa bed in the large corridor which goes from the living room to the double bedroom and the bathroom.

 AZ. MONTECUCCO Die Azienda Montecucco ist ein kleines, zauberhaftes Weingut in der Maremma. Es liegt genau in der Mitte zwischen dem Meer und den Bergen, also ideal für vielerlei Unternehmungen. Ob sie nun im Wanderparadies der Amiataberge die Natur erkunden oder die Sonne an den Stränden des Mittelmeeres genießen wollen, ob Ihnen der Sinn nach einem Stadtbummel in Siena steht oder ob Sie lieber Etruskerausgrabungen besichtigen wollen, mit Montecucco als Urlaubsdomizil liegen Sie genau richtig.
Unseren Stammgästen ist Montecucco ja seit Jahren wegen des guten Weines ein Begriff, und viele werden sich deshalb über Stefano's (er ist der Verwalter) Entschluss, in einigen der schönen, alten Gebäude Ferienwohnungen auszubauen, freuen und auch die Gelegenheit wahrnehmen, hier die Urlaubstage zu verbringen. 400 Hektar Grund rund um das Gut warten auf ihre Entdeckung. Sehr schöne Spaziergänge, direkt vom Haus weg, durch die Olivenhaine und Weinberge, lassen den Alltag schnell vergessen.
Montecucco hat eine herrliche Panoramalage, man überblickt das ganze Ombronetal und an klaren Tagen sieht man in der Ferne das Meer. Der Pool (15x6 m) lädt zum Badefest und wahrscheinlich wird man die meiste Zeit hier verbringen - es ist Ferienfreude pur mit dieser wunderschönen Aussicht auf die Weinberge und Hänge mit Olivenbäumen, die alle zum Gut gehören. Wie schon in der Dorfbeschreibung erwähnt, endet hier die kleine Strasse, gesäumt von einer wunderschönen alten Zypressenallee, ein beliebter Anziehungspunkt für Hobbymaler.

FAGIANO Die Wohnung FAGIANO ist über eine Außentreppe erreichbar und hat vor der Türe einen gemütlichen, überdachten Sitzplatz. Es gibt hier zwei Schlafzimmer, ein Bad, eine abgeteilte Kochnische und einen Wohnraum mit offenem Kamin und einer bequemen Sitzgruppe.

LEPRE Die Wohnung LEPRE ist ebenfalls über diese Aussentreppe zu erreichen, der Sitzplatz ist aber unten auf der Wiese unter schattenspendenden Bäumen, so daß jeder sei eigenes Reich hat. Diese Wohnung besteht aus zwei Schlafzimmern, einem Bad, einer sehr schönen Küche und einem gemütlichen Wohnraum mit offenem Kamin und hübscher Sitzgruppe - so richtig zum Wohlfühlen.

ISTRICE Diese Wohnungen liegen seitlich in einem Nebengebäude - was Besonderes. Vor dem Eingang ist ein eigener Sitzplatz mit Grill und Gartenmöbeln. Die Aufteilung innen ist nicht traditionell, sondern eher sensationell zu nennen. Es ist ein Raum, der in der Mitte mit einer halbrunden Mauer abgeteilt ist. Links steht eine gemütliche Bettcouch, rechts die Küchenzeile und in der Mitte der Esstisch. In der Wohnung „Istrice“ geht es über ein paar Stufen in das hübsche Badezimmer hinunter und in der Wohnung „Riccio“ geht es über ein paar Stufen in das hübsche Badezimmer ein paar Stufen hinauf.
Wenn man vom Wohnraum auf die andere Seite der Mauer geht, steht hier ein Doppelbett mit einem sagenhaften Ausblick auf die Hügelketten in all ihren Grün-, Blau- und Grautönen, im Farbenspiel wechselnd, je nach Tageszeit. Draußen, vor der Terrassentüre, also auf der anderen Seite der Wohnung ist eine große Sonnenterrasse mit Liegen und natürlich wieder dieser sagenhafte Ausblick. Er wird in Ihrer Erinnerung haften bleiben, der endlose Himmel über einer unendlichen Landschaft.

VOLPE (EG rechts)-CINGHIALE (EG links)-FAINA (ES links)-TORTORA (ES rechts) In einem anderen Gebäude, in dem früher Schafstall und Magazin untergebracht waren, wurden vier weitere individuelle Wohnungen ausgebaut. Jede besteht aus einem Schlafzimmer, Duschbad, Kochnische und kombiniertem Wohn- Esszimmer mit Bettcouch. Alles ist hier liebevoll und ansprechend eingerichtet, und mit den wunderschönen alten Holzbalkendecken ergibt das eine südlich-heimelige Wohnatmosphäre. Vor dem Haus ist für jede Wohnung ein separater Sitzplatz als Kulisse der Pool, die alte Kapelle und die schönen Natursteingebäude des Weingutes.

Auf Wunsch wird kostenlos ein Kinderbett bereitgestellt. In einem Nebengebäude ist ein Haushaltsraum mit Waschmaschine, der allen Gästen gemeinsam zur Verfügung steht.
