E’ un casale situato ai piedi della rocca Medioevale di Montelaterone sul Monte Amiata.
Un piccolo negozio di alimentari è presente in paese a circa 1 km, mentre negozi di ogni altro genere sono situati ad Arcidosso a soli 5-6 km. “Il Canapaio” dista circa 30 km da Montalcino, 35 km dalle Terme di Saturnia e circa 60 dal mare.
E’ situato sulla sommità di una collina, offre un’ottima vista panoramica della vallata sottostante, è immersa nel verde degli olivi circostanti ed offre la possibilità agli ospiti di poter pescare nel fiume Zancona che scorre poche centinaia di metri dall’abitazione.
Il Canapaio si compone in sostanza di due appartamenti, entrambi a piano terra. Entrambi sono stati arredati secondo uno stile rustico-country. Poiché dispongono di una porta interna, all’occorrenza comunicante, possono essere affittati entrambi da un unico gruppo di 8 persone ad un ottimo prezzo.
La piscina è bellissima: immersa nel verde degli olivi e del prato, offre una bellissima vista delle colline circostanti e della vallata.
Ciascun appartamento dispone di posto auto all’aperto, gazebo, tv satellitare, barbecue (in comune per entrambi gli appartamenti), lavatrice e camino. A partire dal 2005 il proprietario installerà un impianto di aria condizionata (utilizzabile nei periodi più freddi anche come riscaldamento).

Il Canapaio-Piccolo Si compone di una cucina in muratura con fornelli a gas, frigorifero (senza congelatore), un piccolo forno elettrico, camino, divano, bagno con doccia e lavatrice L’unica camera dispone di un letto matrimoniale ed un letto singolo.

Il Canapaio-Grande L’ingresso da su un’ampia cucina munita di frigorifero (senza congelatore), fornelli a gas e di un piccolo forno elettrico. Un lungo tavolo con sedie e panche accoglie comodamente 6 persone. In soggiorno è presente anche un camino in pietra. Un ampio corridoio con divano conduce a due camere da letto (una con letto matrimoniale e l’altra con due letti singoli) e ai due bagni con doccia. E’ possibile aggiungere un letto singolo.

 IL CANAPAIO This is a country house at the feet of the Montelaterone Medieval fortress on Mount Amiata. There is a small grocery shop in the small village which is only 1 km away. All the other shops people may need are in Arcidosso, which is 5-6 km  away. Il Canapaio is only 30 km from Montalcino, 35 km from the Saturnia thermal baths and about 60 km from the sea.
The house is on top of a hill with a beautiful view on the valley below. It is surrounded by olive trees and gives guests the possibility to go fishing, as the river Zancona flows a few hundreds metres from it.
There are two flats. They are both on the ground floor and both of them are furnished in a rustic country style. They can communicate through a door, if necessary, and therefore can  be rented together by a group of 8 people at a very good price.
The swimming pool is marvellous : set in a green area, with olive trees and a beautiful lawn around it. It has also an incredible view on the nearby hills and on the valley.
Each flat has got a parking area outside, a gazebo, Sat TV, (the  Bar-B-Q is in common), a washing machine and a fireplace. The owner will install air conditioning (with warm air too, to be used in the winter months) in 2005.

Il Canapaio-Piccolo This flat has got a built in stone kitchen with a gas cooker, a fridge (with no freezer), a small electric oven, a fireplace, a sofa, a bathroom with a shower, and a washing machine. There is a double bedroom with a large double-bed and a single bed.

Il Canapaio-Grande The front door opens onto a large kitchen with a fridge (but no freezer), a gas cooker, and a small electric oven. There is a long table with chairs which sits 6 people comfortably. In the living room there is also a stone fireplace. A large corridor, with a sofa, leads to the two bedrooms (one with  a large bed, the other with two twin beds). Is possible to add an extra bed.

We are positive that you will spend a beautiful holiday at Il Canapaio, immersed in the green of the olive trees, lulled by the silence of nature and by the noise of the flowing river.

IL CANAPAIO Es handelt sich um ein Bauernhaus, das sich am Fuße der mittelalterlichen Burg von Montelaterone auf dem Monte Amiata befindet. Im nur 1 km entfernten Dorf ist ein kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft, andere Geschäfte findet man in Arcidosso nur 5-6 km entfernt. Il Canapaio befindet sich 30 km von Montalcino, 35 km von den Saturnia Termen und 60 km vom Meer entfernt. Auf einem Hügel gelegen und in das Grün der umstehenden Olivenbäume eingebettet bietet es eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf das darunterliegende Tal und auch die Möglichkeit für die Gäste am Fluss Zancona zu angeln, der nur wenige hundert Meter vom Haus entfernt fließt.
Il Canapaio besteht aus zwei rustikal eingerichteten Wohnungen, die sich im Erdgeschoß befinden. Die zwei Wohnungen können auch von einer Gruppe von 8 Personen zusammen zu einem sehr guten Preis gemietet werden, da sie über eine Verbindungstür verfügen. Das Schwimmbad ist wunderschön: Eingebettet ins Grün der Olivenbäume und der Wiesen bietet es einen wunderbaren Blick über die umgebenden Hügel und Täler. Jede Wohnung verfügt über einen Autoabstellplatz im Freien, einen Pavillon im Garten, Sat-TV, Grill (gemeinsam für beide Wohnungen), Waschmaschine und Kamin. 2005 wird der Besitzer eine Klimaanlage installieren, die in der kälteren Jahreszeit auch als Heizung dienen kann.

Il Canapaio-Piccolo
Es verfügt über eine gemauerte Küche mit Gaskocher, Kühlschrank (ohne Tiefkühlfach) und kleinem Elektroherd, Kamin, Sofa, Bad mit Dusche und Waschmaschine. Im Schlafzimmer sind ein Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett.

Il Canapaio-Grande
Das Vorzimmer geht über in eine weite Küche ausgestattet mit Gaskocher, Kühlschrank (ohne Tiefkühlfach) und einem kleinem Elektroherd. Ein langer Tisch mit Sitzbank und Stühlen bietet  Platz für 6 Personen. Im Wohnzimmer befindet sich auch ein Kamin aus Stein. Ein weiter Flur mit Sofa führt in die zwei Zimmer (eins mit Doppelbett und das andere mit zwei Einzelbetten) und in die zwei Bäder mit Dusche. Es ist möglich ein Zusatzbett dazu zu stellen.
