Al vostro arrivo sarete calorosamente accolte dalle due proprietarie Daniela e Pia. Hanno vissuto per molti anni a Milano e, dopo alcuni anni vissuti all’insegna dello stress che può dare una grande città, tre anni fa decisero di trasferirsi in campagna. Dopo alcune periodi trascorsi come semplici turiste in Maremma, un giorno scoprirono l’attuale podere. Si trattava di un vecchio podere in pietra risalente al 1850 ormai in rovina: esisteva soltanto l’impiantito e parte dei muri in pietra. Il tetto ed il primo piano erano crollati. Dopo anni di sacrifici sono riuscite a riportarlo “in vita”. Adesso Daniela e Pia vivono al primo piano. Il vostro appartamento si trova a piano terra. Vi sono tre entrate. Se entrate dal sotto scala accedete alla cucina: piccola ma accogliente. Una volta questa era il magazzino-fienile. Un grande arco munito di due grandi tende, che all’occorrenza possono essere chiuse per impedire la visuale di chi dorme nel divano letto della sala, separa la cucina dal soggiorno. Molti anni fa questa parte del podere era la stalla. Dalla sala, munita di una grande libreria, si può accedere al bagno munito di sanitari in stile moderno, di doccia e lavatrice. L’altra porta collega la sala alla camera da letto matrimoniale. Qui trova anche una porta-finestra che permette di accedere al giardino. Il letto matrimoniale dispone di un materasso di Futon in cotone, poggiato su un Tatami giapponese e doghe in legno che offre sonni tranquilli. Anche il divano letto ha il materasso in Futon e le doghe in legno. Il giardino presente sul retro della casa offre la possibilità di fare delle bellissime colazioni o di rilassarsi garantendo una stupenda vista della vallata sottostante attraversata dal fiume Trasubbie.
Le proprietarie sono amanti degli animali: il vostro cane è il benvenuto ma ricordate che Daniela e Pia hanno due cani, dei gatti ed un asinello.

 As soon as you get to Podere Casetta, you will be warmly welcomed by the two owners Daniela and Pia. They lived in Milan for many years. Three years ago, tired of the stressing life in such a big city, they decided to move to the country. After a period of time, during which they lived in Maremma like ordinary tourists, they found this farm house and bought it. It was, at that time, a very old building, built in 1850, and almost a ruin : there was only the floor and part of the stone walls. The ceilings and the first floor had fallen down. After years of hard work they succeeded in bringing it back to “life”! Now Daniela and Pia live on the first floor. The holiday flat to rent is on the ground floor. There are three entrances. If you get in from  below the staircase, you will get into the kitchen, which is small but comfortable. This room was the barn once.  A large arch wall, with double curtains – which can be closed, in case someone should sleep in the living room sofa bed – separates the kitchen form the living room. This part of the house was the cowshed a long time ago. From the living room – where there is a large bookcase – you can get to the bathroom, which has got a modern equipment, a shower and a washing machine. The other door leads to the double bedroom. The large bed has got a very comfortable cotton Futon mattress on a Japanese Tatami with wooden staves. The garden at the back of the house can be used to have breakfast or just to relax while enjoying the beautiful view on the valley below and the Trasubbie river.
The owners love animals: therefore your dog will be welcome but remember that Daniela and Pia have two dogs, some cats and a donkey.

 Bei  Ihrer Ankunft werden Sie von den zwei Besitzerinnen Daniela und Pia herzlich empfangen. Sie haben lange in Mailand gewohnt und nach einigen im Großstadtstress verbrachten Jahren haben sie sich vor vier Jahren zu diesem Umzug aufs Land entschlossen. Nach einigen Aufenthalten als einfache Touristinnen in der Maremma entdeckten sie eines Tages diesen Landhof. Es handelte sich um einen alten, schon verfallenden Landhof aus Stein aus dem Jahre 1850: es gab nur noch den Boden und einen Teil der Steinmauer. Das Dach und der erste Geschoss waren schon eingestürzt. Mit vielen Opfern konnten sie ihn „ins Leben“ zurückbringen. Jetzt wohnen Daniela und Pia im ersten Geschoss und Ihre Wohnung befindet sich im Erdgeschoss. Es gibt drei Eingangstüren. Wenn Sie unter der Treppe eintreten, kommen Sie in die Küche: klein aber gemütlich. Sie war einmal die Lagerscheune. Ein großer Bogen mit einem großen Vorhang, der bei Bedarf zugezogen werden kann, trennt die Küche vom Wohnzimmer, falls jemand auf der Couch im Wohnzimmer schläft. Vor vielen Jahren war dieser Teil des Landhofs der Stall. Von dem Wohnzimmer mit einem großen Bücherregal geht man in das Badezimmer mit modernen Sanitäranlagen, Dusche und Waschmaschine. Die andere Tür verbindet das Wohnzimmer mit dem Doppelzimmer. Hier befindet sich auch eine Fenstertür zum Garten. Das Ehebett hat ein Futon in Baumwolle auf einem japanischen Tatami mit Holzdauben, worauf man schön schlafen kann. Auch die Couch hat ein Futon und Holzdauben. In dem Garten hinter dem Haus kann man wunderbar frühstücken und sich mit Ausblick auf das unterliegende von dem Fluss Trasubbie durchflossene Tal ausruhen.
Die Besitzerinnen lieben Tiere: Ihr Hund ist willkommen, vergessen Sie aber nicht, dass Daniela und Pia zwei Hunde, verschiedene Katzen und einen Esel besitzen.
